Bay Shore Swim Training Facility is a state-of-the-art swim, triathlon and endurance sport training facility dedicated to revolutionizing the way athletes move through the water and on land. As a Total Immersion (TI) certified swim coach, USAT Level II triathlon coach and founder of Rush Performance Coaching, Joe Petrush has spent tens of thousands of hours studying the art and science of swimming. First as an athlete growing up and then as a coach starting in 2005.
His extensive work with thousands of swimmers from Division I College athletes to new swimmers prompted Joe to develop a training system that will maximize any swimmer's potential. He specializes with competitive youth and adults in all aspects of swimming: technique, conditioning, starts, turns, underwater work, pacing, nutrition, recovery and the most important aspect of all, the mental game.
Using an endless pool, floor mirrors, an array of above and below water video cameras along with a waterproof head set for real time verbal feedback, Joe will help you see for yourself what he has already shown to so many...an injury free swimming career full of enjoyment and personal bests.
Proper training methods will prioritize avoiding injury and the ability to learn how to “self-coach” by identifying and adjusting inconsistencies in your stroke. Training and progressions are based on an athlete’s current swim ability, goals, injury profile, time to train and lifestyle limitations. This can be done in person or online through video analysis and coaching feedback. CLICK HERE FOR OTHER SPORTS
